Therapeutic Approach
I offer a personalized and flexible approach to therapy, combining proven methods to support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being. We’ll work together to create a treatment plan that’s as unique as you are, blending traditional and holistic therapies to help you thrive.
Strengths-Based & Solution-Focused Therapy: Build on your existing strengths to overcome challenges and improve resilience.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT): Identify and change negative thought patterns to enhance emotional balance and reduce stress.
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing): A powerful trauma therapy that helps heal emotional wounds and restore healthy processing.
Integrative Mental Health & Wellness: Blending modern therapies with holistic approaches like aromatherapy to support total well-being.
Spirituality: I respect and honor all beliefs. If spirituality is important in your healing, it can play a meaningful role in the process. For those who find strength in a Christian perspective, that can also be incorporated into the healing journey.
Informed In: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and other parts models, Polyvagal Theory (PVT), Substance Use Disorders (SUD) and recovery, and trauma-informed care.
Care Coordination
While I have training in many areas of complementary, alternative, functional, integrative, and conventional medicine, my social work license limits my scope of practice. I collaborate with highly qualified providers in fields such as naturopathy, functional medicine, chiropractic, massage, homeopathy, and nutrition to ensure you receive comprehensive care. Most of this care coordination is done during our sessions. If you’d like, I’m happy to coordinate with your healthcare team, review their recommendations, or make referrals to providers who align with your health and wellness goals.
